  • CLG:

This product was perfect in every way except one. I had to return it because it was dry clean only not machine washable. Unfortunately that information is not included in the product description.

  • This comforter seems like very good quality for the price. I wanted one with real goose down and not polyester because I worry about the chemicals in polyester a bit.

This is just slightly heavier than I would like but it is perfect for winter/fall. I’m in California and can use it most of the time except on very hot days, I need to switch to just a blanket and top sheet.

I wish this came in another color other than white because white tends to yellow after a few years, even when you use a comforter cover.

All in all though, if you are looking for a good quality white goose down comforter that is medium to high warmth, I would recommend this one.

  • for the price, I think this is an excellent value. I live in Portland OR and while I didn’t get this till after the snowstorms were over, I have been using it through the rainy/damp late winter/early spring and have been more than warm at night. In fact the only problem is that I’m often too warm, with someone else in bed I’m quite sweaty. the baffled boxes keep the down from shifting around and it fluffed up very nicely quite soon after I bought it.

  • After my previous down comforter was ruined by my chewful bunny, I did tons of research trying to find a new one. This one was the perfect price for the quality. I live in Chicago and received this (much needed) in early January. It is extremely comfortable and warm, sometimes verging on hot! I ended up turning the heat way down at night so I would not be sweltering under the comforter. That being said, it is still the best, warmest, most comfortable down comforter I have owned. And the bunny is banned from contact with it so it will be around for a long time!

  • This comforter is very warm and soft. I didn’t know what to expect from a “medium warmth” comforter, but it’s as much as we need–and more!–for the relatively few cold nights we have in Texas. On very cold nights, I was shivering under 3 blankets prior to purchasing this comforter, but haven’t needed any additional covers since receiving it. In fact, it’s often too warm (but that’s not a bad thing on cold winter nights:-))
