Can I use an electric blanket with my down comforter?
Or any other blankets for that matter? I have my down comforter in a duvet cover and am wondering if I should put the electric blanket between me and the down comforter or the down comforter is most effective being closest to your body so should I put other blankets on top of it?

Wow – this will create some serious warmth. The comforter insulates, the electric blanket generates heat. So, keep the down comforter on top and the electric blanket trapped “inside” with you.
Yes, we have done it. But even on the lowest setting it gets way to warm for my comfort. However, if you like warm, then this is safe to do!
If your going to do this have a sheet & the electric blanket next to you and the down comforter on top, but I wouldn’t think you need an electric blanket with a down conforter, they are warm by themselves.
