NEED ROOM DESIGNER WORTHY help!!!?

I need some ideas to decorate my room. I am a 14 year old girl w/ a small room, about 10X10 ft. I had some ideas– I wanted to do a real, fun, bright, room. But i also wanted to do a french-chic room– black pumps as hooks, lilac walls, white down comforter, black vanity, etc. But i also wanted to do a real relaxing one, like a lilac or lite grn with plants. I don’t know what to doooo!!!! See, I’m a really fun, bubbly person who loves to laugh, and loves happy colors. But sometimes I get really stressed and just want a place to relax. This needs to be CHEAP! I need some cheap, DIY designer worthy ideas!!! Oh- my friend had a really cool room, it was like royal purple, and w/ a tulle canopy, and royal purple bedspread, etc. I need something CHEAP, FUN, AND I CAN RELAX IN. THANKS SO MUCH

I have a stardard king size bed and a king size down comforter but it’s not wide enough. My husband and I constantly tug at it back and forth at night. I’d like something that hangs over our sides about 6 inches or so. I researched a california king but that was longer, not wider. Are there any other options?
