I have 2 dogs with frequently muddy paws that like to jump on the bed…. I feel like I’m washing it too often, but this is my first down comforter so I don’t know!

I called the dry cleaners and they want $35. to dry clean a down comforter. Is there any other way I can wash it? Can I put it in the regular washing machine on a gentle cycle?

Can I machine wash my twin size White Goose Down Comforter in an Extra Large Maytag Washing Machine.
*The tag says DRY CLEAN ONLY– I have always washed Dry Clean items with care and had good luck.
Is there any special way to wash this white goose down comforter and how do I dry it? I know it takes forever to dry in the dryer. I have washed Costco’s Down throws, and they come out fine.

I have washed down pillows, and my used, yard sale comforter, and they take forever to dry. They were old and I felt, nothing to lose if it doesn’t work.
Well, they washed pretty good.

I know you can machine wash the cover but can I wash the actual down comforter in the machine. I don’t have time to wait for the laundry mat…. and i want to keep it nice in fluffy? Any technique/possibilities/tricks?
